Funny hotel experiences
I checked into my normal hotel in San Francisco today and it brought to mind one time when I stayed earlier this year. There are always weird things going on in hotel rooms, but with this one, I really didn’t know what to do.
The people in the room next to me were quiet all night long — I knew someone was in the room because I heard the door open and close. But around 2:00 am things took a noisy turn for the worse — I was woken up with the loudest banging noise I ever heard. I jumped out of bed expecting to see an army in my room, but all was quiet; but not for long.
It sounded like someone was being thrown against the wall next door … literally. Again and again the banging on the wall, not like a fist or a chair, although I’m sure some furniture was misplaced too, but it was a thud like a body.
Soon after each thud on the wall their would be moaning and muffled pants. I really wasn’t sure what to do, but then I heard giggles and laughter — this went on for two nights until the three of them, two men and a women checked out.
Just one of those funny hotel things you’ll never forget.
