And the birthday ends with a party
Well, Nicole’s birthday is pretty much over and it ended with a party, but not here. In a perfect example of her age, she went out to a friends house for her third boy/girl party in the past few months.
My parents, Monique’s parents and my sister and her family all showed up this afternoon to give Nicole presents. Nicole was very polite about all of the gifts, which at her age was nice to see.
We had two cakes — one Monique made and the other was an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. We got them to put a couple of Pooh characters on there, so Cole was happy with that.
I’m tired and glad the day is coming to a close. I have a feeling the birthday’s are only going to get more exciting in the next couple of years.
