The iPod halo effect is here to stay

Apple, Technology, iPod Add comments

I had an interesting conversation yesterday with an IDC analyst that said the iPod halo effect could be around for some time. The only catch is that Apple has to continue to innovate in order to keep building the momemtum.

That’s not really a catch for anyone that anything about Apple products though — Apple has been innovating for years in both design and technology. Most analysts don’t seem to believe too much in the halo effect, but Apple keeps reporting record numbers, so there has to be something to it.

Interesting article. It’s hard to tell what Apple will do with the design though — I’m expecting something pretty different than what we see today.

I just bought a great DVD to iPod Converter. The website gave me a 25% discount. Worth the money imo and much easier to use than most downloadable software.
