Michael’s favorite subject is definitely not math — turns out it isn’t his math teachers either. Michael brought home his test today that he studied really hard and was disappointed with his B-.
Monique took a look at the test and noticed that the teacher miss counted by 10 points. What does this mean? Michael deserves an A+ instead of a B-. He was much happier when we told him that.
We put a note in with his school work so the teacher could see it tomorrow.

Me too. But now I can say, “don’t worry about how I did in school, you can do better,”
Actually we were pleased with the mark, but with all of the studying he did, he was disappointed.

Coincidentally, I recently had a long conversation with my mom regarding math in the schools. We concluded the introduction of the calculator to the classroom was the death of mathematics learning. Until that point in time, students were forced to develop retention skills and use their minds for calculation.
Learnin’ just ain’t what it used ta be.

OH you don’t even want to get me started on the education system. We are teaching the kids useless shit for the most part and the administrators don’t tell the kids when they are doing bad, just because they don’t want to hurt their feelings.
Bunch of crap!

Myself, I was elated if I got a “C” in high school. My average was “D”.

We went to Idaho to see relatives when I was in the third grade. At school that fall we drew pictures about what we did during the summer. I drew a picture of a car going over the mountains on the way to Idaho. My teacher informed me that there were no mountains near Idaho. i will never forget that as long as I live.
